Wood Nymph

We have enjoyed a glorious warm autumn day here. The temperature rose to 23 C and there was a gentle warm breeze which stirred up and swirled the leaves in the woods in Pollard Park. The breeze also teased leaves from the large towering trees and allowed them to drift gently to the ground.
A group from our Camera Club visited Pollard Park here in Blenheim. Ten of us enjoyed a couple of hours of photography making best use of the late afternoon light.
One enchanting ten year old in our group was delightedly using her grandmother's point and shoot camera. "I knew I'd be good at this..." she said as she proudly showed off her images.
"Bee" has a good eye. She will do well. It runs in the family as her grandmother is a good photographer and one of our regular local blippers.
In today's blip Bee is pictured beside the stream. There were lovely reflections in the water and Bee had been helping us by throwing in more leaves in order for us to capture them as they floated by. Go Bee...
