Now and Then

Interesting topic for this Monday's MM challenge — thanks, Mole.

I spotted this outlook a few weeks back, but I didn't have a telephoto lens with me and, besides, the light was all but gone.

Raining (not too heavily thankfully) when I took this, so I had to be careful to keep the lens dry (I'd forgotten the lens hood).

More often than not I find my photo opportunities through serendipity. But this was pre-planned, meaning I could be relatively quick about it without getting too rain-soaked in the process.

Thanks to everyone who stops by to view my photos, and special thanks when you like an image enough to leave a comment, a star or a heart. Blipfoto, I have discovered, is full of great people and wonderful images, and I now get what makes blipping so addictive.
