Noosa National Park

No worship duties today so Martin and I could actually go to church together :).

We had planned to take a picnic to Noosa National Park and then do the bush walk.

It was REALLY busy around Hasting street and all the way to the Park. Jon needed rescuing as he couldn’t find parking near Hastings and was getting too late for an appointment, so we went and helped him out by taking his car and dropping him off … and then carrying on to our picnic! Only now we had to find space for two cars!!! Not being successful, we decided to drop off one car at Martin’s work carpark, have our lunch at the Park there and then carry on to our walk.

It was perfect weather and the water was so clear. Really enjoyed it and took the longer walk back to the car.
There were lots of signs of spring around, everything looking very lush.

Back home, all our neighbours were out, so we joined them. Our next door neighbour absolutely loved the cake from yesterday and had given me a bottle of Bollinger which I brought out to share with them all. While we were there Hugo brought me a bouquet of flowers, it was just soooo sweet of him and his mum. I was just blown over. Not only did they pay for the cake but I got a bottle of Bollinger AND flowers … which I will be blipping.

It was a freezing night … we were sooo cold out there and grateful for our warm home when we went indoors finally!

Good weekend!
Still getting over our win at the pokies yesterday ;-).
