Clouded Yellow

On the way to the brewery to help Maurice brew 200 Litres of Raveningham Bitter, I saw the yellowist thing I ever saw.

The clouded yellow is a butterfly of chalk downlands, favouring clover and trefoil, so to meet it here in South Norfolk is a great honour.

An annual migrant, Colias croceus, is not uncommon apparently, but I never have seen one.

So brilliantly yellow.
