Lime Croft

We are in Malham! Staying at this small cottage, 'Lime Croft' for the next four nights.

We drove to Malham via Alwoodley and Dad was able to get some drone footage of his two childhood homes. Then we had a picnic lunch in Goldenacre Park, a very familiar place from Dad's childhood. After stopping at Booths in Ilkley and Tesco in Skipton we made it to Malham on a beautiful sunny evening.

The cottage has a kitchen/lounge area and two ensuite bedrooms of to either side. There is plenty of outside space although no obvious eating area. Conor helped unload the car and then explored the garden with Orla. After some dinner for Orla and Conor we made the short drive down to Janet's Foss, a waterfall with a deep pool. It was 8pm but there were still kids swimming and screaming so we didn't stay long.

Mum and Dad had steak for dinner outside with a view of a rising moon and later watched the last hour of the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony.
