Fig Leaf

Our fig tree is looking a bit odd. It has these lovely new leaves but it also has a lot of fruit from last year that never ripened and was left on it. I tried, very unsuccessfully, to get a picture that got them both but I couldn't get one that left me feeling happy.

I had another German packed learning day. I don't know why, but I'm really enjoying getting stuck into it at the moment. It might have to do with fact that today's learning included reading quite a bit of Asterix on my own and having minor problems with only about 1% of it.

Looking forward to this week as it's May 1st on Wednesday and that's a holiday for us here. It breaks up the week into 2 little chunks. Looking forward to it.
