What to choose?

The barn owl won again - it was hunting for prey around 7am & I had two fly pasts. It's a good hunter & seems to catch prey very easily. 

I also had a bit of a wander in the heather - just looking for whatever I could find. I found a grasshopper & a latticed heath moth. (extras)

Stayed put for the rest of the day - it's hot! I had a brimstone butterfly in my garden today. That's a first as they are scarce around here...didn't have my camera though & hoping it comes back.
