Two colour choices agreed.  One to mull on.

Dado rail fitting and post-electrician hole filling today.  

Apart from slightly relocating a number of sockets, they've all been moved up from the (highly questionable, and highly impractical) location cut into the skirting board, up to the wall above it.  Thus, I'm left with eight double-socket-sized holes in the skirting board - now plugged with assorted timbers to Polyfilla over tomorrow.
