Woody Wednesday (10th August 2022)

Refna arrived earlier than usual, having cycled over before the temperatures soared. The shade afforded by the Woodlands Garden made it the best place to be working on such a day, but the journey home can't have been fun. This rare buddleia ('Sungold', Buddleja x Weyeriana) , flowering this year for the first time, has grown from a cutting from her garden so is an appropriate blip for this day.
