Definitely not Autumn

The only good time for a walk was early and even then using the shade offered by the low sun and trees was advisable.  

The trees were definitely showing strain from the lack of rain.  In our garden the tradescantia leaves have been burnt and dried out so I am very doubtful we will get any flowers this year.

A working day, but by mid afternoon the heat in the study was unbearable so I took the laptop and headed for the coolest room in the house, our lounge.  About to order some black out blinds for the windows for future occasions.
