Sculpture wander

An end of term plan fulfilled today:  a wander around the sculptures at Doddington Hall with a friend from work. There were lots that we liked but this was my particular favourite - Man's Best Friend by Simon Conolly, it was about a foot high. 

We wandered and chatted, guessed prices and titles and finished off with a big slice of cake in the cafe.  We'd been a little concerned that it would be too warm and it was 30 degrees on the car as I left but didn't feel too bad in the gardens. A few stops on the way home for various purchases and then home to Bailey who greeted me in his usual fairly bizarre fashion as evidenced in the non-collage extra.
