Under Close Inspection

I chose this image for today because of the shape made by the plant against a dark background, forming a band in an arc. Of course what attracted me in the first place were the tiny pink flowers of the spirea. I used an extension tube for these shots to get really close.

Why is it that the wind starts blowing as soon as I line up a shot? Anyway after a lot of waiting for a pause, I managed a decent capture by upping the iso for a faster shutter.
