Pink and purple

You've now seen all the flowers that are currently blooming on the terrace. Otherwise it was a quiet day here. I watched the International Under 20 Track and Field Championship while doing housework, and it was interesting to see the athletes who are headed for fame but have not yet reached their peak. I feel fortunate that so many of the track and field events are now shown on TV, as that has always been my favorite sport.

Tomorrow the girls' cousin Diane is having a gathering to celebrate her son Josh's 35th birthday. All of my family will be there, so I'll  have more time with the twins. I hope the weather will be good as we will be outside and there's a chance of rain.
