Another wasted day

Too hot and humid to do anything - again! it had been forecast to be 25C today, maximum - but it was 30-odd degrees again for most of the day and has only just dropped to a little under 30C now at 20:50 hours. The storms have not materialised nor one speck of rain. There is not a hint of a breeze.
The house temp downstairs has not been lower than 28C for days and it's even hotter upstairs! Tower fan on 24/7 (lounge or bedroom, depending on time of day) and this little one on while I am on the desktop upstairs.
Some of my friends are driving around in their cars just to cool down with the aircon!
Yes, I am moaning about the weather - we are all geared up to keep the heat in our homes here, not keep it out!
Please send rain or a cool breeze!
