Wanderings & Witterings

Dominant

In their first six matches of the current season Falkirk had managed to score only three goals, and never more than one in any single game.
That all changed today as the Navy Blues beat Peterhead 3-1 in the league. It should have been many more: the match stats showed the Bairns had 68% possession and 24 shots at goal of which 16 were on target. It was a dominant display and the three points were very welcome after a draw and a defeat in our two previous league matches.

Afterwards, I got a train through to Edinburgh to meet up with friends. A very pleasant evening was had, but I was glad to get out of the crowded city and the packed trains and back to the relative calm of home. Edinburgh at festival time is best avoided in my opinion. Not my scene.
