Phenomenal

Some beautiful atmospheric phenomena in the sky today.

On the left is a 22 degree halo, at about 100 degree and slightly to the right is a hint of a circumscribed halo and the pale curved line is part of a parhelic circle. Similar to this set on Atmospheric Optics.

Lovely visit to my friends farm today, it was great to see her and some of her very cute animals including a very friendly pig, the cutest lamb in the world (it mucked in with the dogs, running around and coming up for the occasional cuddle) as well as the usual chickens, horses and coos.

We also visited my brother and his lovely horses, three of them. Not jealous at all. (Grr!)
