Thunder and Lightning With A Touch Of Pestilence.

The storm arrived on Sunday evening and continued throughout the night with much thunder and lightening. The rain fell steadily, but the open sandy nature of our ground and the amount of vegetation meant that the rain was readily absorbed.

No flash floods here! Thank you.

Monday is bin day and the refuge trucks appear about 6:00 a.m. the thumbnail shows our blue bin for landfill. Such is our recycling that it is very rarely filled within a month.

Today’s photo shows the immediate affect of rain on the greenery. A recovery is already underway.

All of the harvest dust which had covered most surfaces is being washed away.

The rain has continued throughout the day, although the sound and light show has stopped.
