Did Beethoven Visit St Andrews?

John Suchet is an acknowledged authority on Beethoven and attended Queens College, St Andrews. 

John Suchet is the brother of David Suchet who played Hercule Poirot in the TV series.

However I can find no direct link between Ludwig B and St Andrews.
