From Narrabeen

Today we drove down to Sydney. It was less than 200km but took us almost 4 hours with mountain and city driving.  We are staying at the Narrabeen Caravan Park and the beach is just across the road. This is taken from the Rockpool and swimming pool area looking north towards Feather’s  neighbourhood. Unfortunately for me she is still overseas so I won’t be meeting her this trip, maybe in the future.

We are catching up with family. Between us we have 2 children, 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers, sister and nieces and nephews and cousins and all their spouses and children. I’ve lost count of how many and to be honest I can’t even remember half the names of the younger generation. Tonight we had our son James and his girlfriend Xharmagne over for dinner. Tomorrow is our daughter’s turn and we are heading her way for dinner.

Remembering our Dad who died 11 years ago today aged 90.

Narrabeen is a suburb of greater Sydney located on the northern beaches area. It is 30 km north of the CBD. My blip is of the ocean but behind us is a large lagoon which is a recreation area and good for wildlife.
