Before the thunderstorm arrived...

Yesterday: - phone calls to Patient No2’s GP and District Nurse to chase urgent blood tests
- Patient No3 to the vets, lost 0.5kg, hasn’t eaten properly for 3 weeks, unsettled by everything going on at home (fluffy extras added to yesterday’s blip)
- Patient No1 taken to hospital with suspected TIA, 4hrs waiting in ambulance before admitted to A&E, 11.55pm admitted overnight, my taxi arrived 1am after I’d waited one hour outside A&E. Got to bed 2am.

Today: - 5 hours sleep
- District Nurse, hospice carer and phone call with hospice nurse for Patient No2
- Patient No1 brought home by ambulance at 1pm, spent afternoon trying, but failing, to talk to someone to find out CT scan results and diagnosis
- Manic Tuesday chores
- Beyond exhausted

Thank you for all your recent stars and hearts, and kind words yesterday. I should really switch my comments off because I can’t reciprocate right now, but at the moment those words mean a lot...
