Gum trees

These gum trees, visible from the street, are growing in local back yards. Mostly the gardens around here are narrow. You get this little sapling from the nursery and before you know it, it's 20 metres high.

I love gum trees and these ones are enhanced by the light of the setting sun, sparkling on the leaves.
