The gift of time

In the next few days the Grandmother clock my Grandma gifted me is getting revitalised.

I was promised the clock on condition I could repair it, which, with lots of determination and WD40, I did aged 14/16)

I’m hoping it’s an easy fix.

The back door and pendulum were removed as it was driving MrH crazy with the ticking noise. It’s been about 20 years now and I think it needs to live again. I think if I put it in the study of our very tiny house he can’t complain as he shouldn’t be able to hear it.

Time to buy more WD40, I think I went through a lot last time!!!

Busy day but excited to get a couple of new things to brighten my life. My new door Mat may well be a blip subject soon (I know, it’s far too exciting!)
