Echinops and Hoverfly

I've been planning to blip the echinops as the heads turn a lovely blue. A hoverfly is always a bonus. It's not as sharp as I'd like it to be but frankly I'm not feeling it today. So this will have to do. I will try harder!

Off to meet a friend and former colleague for lunch. That's the second time in a week that I've spent social time with someone I've worked with. It'll be good to catch up on her news. She lives in Edinburgh but we're meeting half way. Polmont here I come.

After that fun I'll be doing a supermarket shop for the week ahead. As we're hoping to get away next Thursday I have to think carefully about that. It's an exciting prospect.
