National arboretum

I drove to Chris’s and we stopped at the National arboretum on our way. We took a lovely picnic and we had a short wander. I wanted to see the Royal Navy memorial as my dad was in the navy and would have loved it. We have been before but a few years ago. The memorial to submariners is new only dedicated earlier this year. It is nice to see that they keep adding memorials. The roads were busy but we didn’t come across any problems.
