Abstract Thursday - Minimalist Abstract

I thought this detail from a lighting fitting would make an ideal subject for this challenge but found when I looked at it on the computer there was a lot of rust speckles on the brass fitting which you do not notice when you are looking at it with the naked eye. Any amount of the despeckle or blur filters was not going to improve the image sokin the end I had to darken down the image to cover these distractions..
