Putting a lid on it

Today we carried on with the bathroom planning. We visited a showroom in Alton and wandered from alcove to alcove looking at the variety of fitments, some attractive, some hideous. But we were both startled when we walked into one alcove and the toilet lid opened of its own accord. Perhaps we have had sheltered lives but it was a new experience for Mr Flossmo and myself. I managed to make it do it again whilst I took a photograph.

The automatic motion sensor seat open and close was only the beginning of what the Sensia Arena toilet offers; it has shower toilet technology (presumably what we once called a bidet), massage spray, warm air drier and a smart phone app for personalized user settings.
