Goldfinch

I seem to spend much time standing at the kitchen window watching the antics of the Sparrows and the Goldfinches as they jostle for a place on one of the bird feeder perches. The Goldfinches only eat the sunflower seeds but the Sparrows very their diet by pecking away at the fat balls as well as the seeds.

Out for lunch today to a new venue for me .... 'The Laird's Table' down in Fenwick. So much eaten that I don't need much for tea except a cuppa and a piece of toast.
