Mom and Pup

We put my boat away for the season…while Peter was here to help … (extra...only a few photos today but I did like the light in this)   A few hills to drag it up off the beach and obstacles on the way to its spot under the tall house porch.   After a good cleanup.   It’s ready for another year.  Who would have thought it.   Caught these seals on the way…Nonchalent Mom and her BIG pup nursing.   Grateful we didn’t have any abandoned little ones on our beach this summer…. it’s impossible to not rescue them.  (we tried one year;…but gave in too late)

Family left late this afternoon and when we got back to the cabin, the power was out…
AGAIN!   That’s 5 times this summer!    SO……no rest til the generator was plugged in…it’s all of Galiano again. 
Exhausted.   Need some quiet days…. but with a week left, I”m not sure how quiet they will be….

Well,   tried to use the phone hot spot for blip unsuccessfully....but the power just came back... very fast!!!!   2 1/2 hours!
