Flugscheibe

Frisbee - to be honest, the German word is never ever used.

After yesterday's quite early blip everybody pretty fast changed into party mode. We decided to drink a few Cuba Libre while we waited for VV's boyfriend Erik to arrive. Well, that took a while and then he obviously wanted to get in the game. We probably would still sit on the balcony drinking and watching the planes land (did I tell you that VV's flat is located under the approach path of Stockholm's domestic airport), if the 2 bottles of Rum would not have been empty at some point.

As it was obviously much too early to call it a day we then went into the city center to hit a bar or club, which we did. But don't ask me about the name - I have no idea. After we were kicked out at closing time we went back to VV's for a little after-party. Fell into bed rather knackered.

So the consequence was a quite bad hangover today. And there is no better cure for that than having a little bike ride again and play frisbee in Rålambshovsparken. The picture by the way shows VV (very small in the lower left corner) waiting for the flying disc to reach her with a rather dramatic sky in the background. And no it did not start to rain - actually it did not rain once the whole weekend.

We then went on to meet with Judith, a friend of Julia's, who is studying in Sweden in the moment. We went up to Katarinahissen with her, where we randomly ran into Jul and Bertl, two guys from my hometown, who were also visiting Stockholm right now.

So coffees and beers were drunk and old tales were told before we ate at a really great Turkish restaurant (again: no idea what the name was) to end the night at Gamla Ugglan with a little boule and air hockey game.

And of course: bike ride home in the middle of the night at 2°C without light - same as everyday.
