Lower Laithe Reservoir.

It's hard to believe looking outside this photo was taken on the same day!! I enjoyed a beautiful walk around, and above, Haworth this morning under largely blue skies.

Part of my walk took me alongside Lower Laithe Reservoir which is looking low in water supplies, as are most of the reservoirs. It's a man made upland reservoir just west of Haworth and dams Sladen Beck watercourse.

Come around 2pm the rain clouds had rolled in and they have burst in spectacular fashion. It's been torrential rain ever since and it's still going now, combined with thick fog.
