Sunshine

It was a lovely sunny day today, very pleasant for our Tuesday morning walk.  As part of the walk we went to Bastion Point, where the gardens have just been replanted for spring. After lunch I went to my Pilates Class, then had a somewhat unproductive afternoon before taking a big casserole and a bowl of mashed potato over to Mum’s to have dinner with her and my brother, who is visiting from Christchurch. We had a very pleasant evening catching up with family happenings.

The only photos I managed to take today were of the gardens at the Michael Savage Memorial/Bastion Point, and one of the fountains.

There are 3,693 new community cases today, and the seven-day rolling average is 3,496 compared to 4,073 last Tuesday. The number of people in hospital is 402, including 6 in ICU. The seven-day rolling average increase in total deaths attributable to Covid-19 is 8 and 1,841 deaths have been confirmed as either directly attributed to Covid, or with Covid as a contributing factor.
