Village Noticeboard

This village has a very active social scene. The pop up BBQ was very good and Mrs B enjoyed the Hymns and Pimm's – I avoide the latter because I had just returned from a long train journey from London and wasn’t confident that I was free of infection (I was). 

As always, such events happen only when there are people willing to make the effort to organise and staff them; we’re lucky enough to have such people here.  Now we’re hoping that the local pub can reopen after repairs. Mark Hix, well known chef, had to give up trying to make a go of the Fox Inn as a gastronomic-pub (pricey meals) but seems to retain the lease.  I understand that negotiations continue . . .
