Lunch out

Still backblipping from our York trip.  Apologies for lack of commenting on journals etc - meeting myself coming backwards as usual!  We had been told about a local holiday park which had a very nice restaurant, so we caught the bus towards Selby and walked up a country lane to Hollicars Holiday Park which has a Millers Restaurant.  The park looked very well kept, and the restaurant is open to residents and the public.  It was busy, but we managed to get a table.  I had one of the dishes on the specials board - chicken, chorizo and black pudding salad on crushed potatoes.  As you can see it was a huge plateful!  Very tasty, and as it was a warm day I had an iced coffee.  The restaurant is set looking over a field which has a modern stone circle.  Back to the village on the bus and a wander round the local church grounds - a lovely lynch gate, stone seat etc.  Later I was able to sample a very nice crisp cold cider at the village club.  A good end to the day. Local church and stone circle in extras.
