Yallingup Gulelhuph Bakery

This building has been there for as long as I can remember and I’ve been coming here for over 60 years. It’s had several transformations over those years.
It’s now a bakery but I remember it being a surf shop, a dress shop and before that it was derelict for quite some time. It’s probably not classed as “historic” but to this small community it is.
Yallingup became popular in early 1900’s because of the discovery of a large cave which became a magnet for adventurous travellers. Caves House Hotel was built in 1903 with two further wooden buildings in 1907. I believe this is one of them.
