Killing fields?

There is a lot of errr 'pigeon X-rated activity' in our garden and we had assumed that the abundance of feathers was from the rather vigorous courtship behaviour...

However, at the weekend Martin spotted a bird of prey in the garden, together with a very alarmed escaping bird.  

Wondering now if our garden is the equivalent of 'fast food' around here!
