Grainstore

you've seen this before but it's an interesting old historic building - thanks BobsBlips. A grainstore dating from the 18C on the banks of the estuary, built to store grain before being dispatched to Liverpool,.There's much discussion as to whether it was used as an auxiliary workhouse for girls during the Famine. Today it's home to barn owls and ravens. My extra is a pic Himself did of it in 2015,  I was furious that I hadn't seen this marvel! What a photo.

Blipped enroute to get some fish and chips from the rather good mobile chipper that appears in Durrus on a Wednesday!

Will have to catch up shortly as we're off to watch the Michael Collins film, still trying to get my head round it all.
