Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

Meandering

There is little I can say about today. It was hot. I worked, a little better than usual. At lunchtime I went for a walk and saw this little girl dressed as a princess and her mother walking along in silence. In the evening I finished reading Nightcrawler and started reading After Sappho.

I despair about man’s inhumanity to woman, I really do. Nightcrawling is a very powerful book that makes you want to weep and curse. But it is also a story of love and resilience.

After Sappho is my thirteenth and final Booker read.  Will have taken four and a half weeks by the time I’ve finished, which is less than three days per book. Not too shabby as they say …
