Twice As Nice

We were all sent new security badges for work.  And then they sent me another one.  They are identical, I have no idea which one is activated and which not.

I had another clever day.

How do you do this <Complicated Thing>?  we step through it and we make it happen.

Phone call "Mmm could you do this for us?" - 30 minutes later, "Like that you mean?" "Exactly like that"

And then just as I was getting ready to close down for the day I got a phone call from a hugely experienced colleague.  "Whenever I have an <Very Boring IT Thing> problem, I call you."  He gives training courses in the <Very Boring IT Thing>.  But I am capable of Hexenwerk. A little think, solution found.  He was more than impressed - and he has told his team - "Problem with this - Phone Pete".

That's a good end to the working day.

Dinner with friends tonight.  I really hope they don't want to sit outside.  We have millions of wasps and they always love me.  This feeling is not reciprocated.
