AT abstract with a nod to two cities I love!

Was in bed by 1;00 and asleep two minutes later!  The girls arrived at 9 for breakfast - NO 2? Possibly!

Then we set to doing their work.  Ro with eldest while I did loads with youngest.  A bit of dancing - even Ro joined in! - to Caro Emerald  by which time it was around 11:00 and they continued painting their boxes.

Lunch as yesterday with raspberries for afters.  Then we went to the library in town.  The place was buzzing!  Stands are going up everywhere as there is a big festival for the bank holiday.  The children's library was empty and hardly anyone came in.  We read different books. My favorite was "The diddle that Dummed."

Home and the spag bol was ready - slow cooker - just had to cook some pasta to go with it!  That with cheese and raw veg.  For afters it was yogurt and grapes.  They also added some sugar coated fennel seeds!

Mum collected soon after and peace reigns. Tomorrow I'm going walking with Brenda!

The above was inspired by some Georgia O'Keeffe drawings done in charcoal: drawing xiii, and if you scroll down on the same page : Abstraction ix (1915 and 16 respectively).  Many thanks again to Inge for hosting!
