Seeing Beyond Looking

By SandraSuisse

Have you ever noticed?

Have you ever noticed that it's often the tiniest things in life that are the ones which touch us most deeply?

Just contemplating this flower on my balcony this morning, I noticed the amazing details in the centre, the tiny triangular spaces of green in-between the petals, the meerest sprinkling of pollen and the wonderful lines radiating out from the petals - one of the petals is also showing us very tiny hairs at its base.

Don't even get me started on babies' tiny toes  and lopsided smiles or kittens' tails and  butterflies' wings.

When we look around us, even on the greyest of days, there will be some tiny detail waiting for us to notice it and making us catch our breath as we marvel in the moment.

As always, best seen in large with the black frame.
