SO green!

Yesterday - I haven't been here for a while - I've not been coping with much too hot and humid weather!  I came here as I'm not happy in crowded places and the tourists haven't discovered this place (yet!)  The only downside is that you have to drive down a narrow lane with only room for one car and few passing places, to get here!

I had expected it all to look parched - but it wasn't!  The Fowey Daymark which you might see in the distance is a land lighthouse equivalent.  The red stripes are only painted on three sides - the white side is facing the land so no ships would see it anyway.  It amuses me to wonder how much money was saved by not painting red stripes on the fourth side!
