And breathe . . .

What an 'interesting' day!
A friend had been asked to take some pictures for a couple from the church who have no money but who were getting wed today. This is their third attempt to get wed....She couldn't say no easily being a church member . . . but as the day got nearer she was beginning to panic....and roped me in to go and keep her company. 
The bride was late as the road in the village is 'one way' and a young lad had smashed his car on a sticking out step - it wasn't drivable, so the wedding car had to make a long detour! Poor groom was a bit concerned...
We had an interesting day and thankfully the weather was dry - it was bright and sunny out and dark and dull inside so not the easiest shooting conditions, but we did the best we could and had a bit of fun.
Hoping that between the two of us we might have twenty or so reasonable ones so they will have a good memento of their day.
I needed a stiff gin this evening....so had one!
