Even cows need a drink of water

Very warm again today so there were plenty of folk enjoying a walk in the Heritage Park. I didn't walk as far as usual because I was too busy watching the ducks snoozing, the swans preening and the gulls bobbing on the water. All was calm and peaceful until a youngster appeared with great chunks of bread and then it was every bird for him/herself as suddenly there was mayhem.

The cows were far more peaceful and I was able to park fairly near their field with its own permanent puddle. Most cows and calves just gave me a good stare apart from this cow who was far too busy to bother with me.
