Nature’s bounty.

In our garden. I was pruning; this area needs attention, but will have to wait. The red hips and the brambles are popular with the birds etc. We don’t tend to pick brambles in our family, although others do. Used for pies, jam, jelly and liqueurs. Some traditional medical uses too.

A joint on the rone around the conservatory has been leaking. I repaired it, and cleaned out most the gutter.

Younger son came for dinner.
