The effect of lack of rain.

Thought I’d post some photos this week showing how the garden has been affected.
The bare patch by the ancient apple tree is where two big shrubs finally gave up the ghost, having struggled earlier in the year. A lovely Choisya and a Senecio.
We had to have someone come and dig them out.
Since then we discovered the old tree stump of an earlier apple tree which will need a stump grinder to shift it, before we can think of what we will do next. We could do with blipper Dave to do that! But it would cost a fair bit to bring him over from France!
His garden is just a delight.
Take a look. Here’s a link: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3010870394891537425
Now getting ready for my 90 minutes Zoom French Conversation.
Need to unscramble my brain a bit first!
We had a walk in the Park as usual this morning. Totally forgetting it is Bank Holiday, and wondered where the hoards of extra people and dogs had come from!
