Magical Music

We went to see Emily Levy (my wonderfully talented daughter-in-law) playing with the amazing Matthew Bourne at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax. They played a selection of traditional folk songs and Emily's own compositions - Emily singing and guitar, with Matt providing musical soundscapes on piano, Moog and (recorded) cello. Captivating and transporting, with even the most familiar of tunes sounding fresh and original. Check them both out if you are unfamiliar with their work.
Before that, I gave the gates the third and final coat of preservative.
