Return To Craigtoun Park

Mr and Mrs Dog have been spending a few days in their apartment in St Andrews enjoying some leisure and readying the accommodation for handover to the University as additional accommodation.

We met to share a meal before they said goodbye to their apartment until next year.

Prior to our meal we enjoyed a walk in Craigtoun Park. This is the first time that Pat and I have been there this year.

The Dogs visit the Park fairly often. Pat and I know it very well. Of course, my time as the Train Driver at Craigtoun is mentioned again. I should put that on my CV!

Much to our surprise they were unaware of the mansion now referred to as Craigtoun Hospital.

We showed them the building. The second extra! Surprise!
When they walk in the Park, they always look across the park rather than over the boundary fence. They missed it.

There are plans to convert the building into Fractional Ownership apartments. Covid and the Financial Climate have all contributed to the delay.

It is a quite remarkable building inside and out.

And the first extra! Is Grumpy! Now, all I have to do is find the other six and Snowhite!

And the main photo. Work is progressing slowly on the restoration of the Dutch Village, which is good news.
