Bloody Nightmare

Moving is such a fun experience.

Despite our new flat being "Virgin Media-ready" the router has no wall socket to plug into. Spent the night in the new place just to collect the thing which used up all my data so now the internet is totally inaccessible.

Hopefully the agent will give us some info to get it up and running but we've already reported separate issues a week ago but haven't had any updates beyond promises that they'll sort it out.

Fortunately, I don't need to move out of the student accommodation until 9th Sept so it definitely could be worse.

We certainly aren't city people and we've been spending our time in a much calmer area the past years which suits us more, so it's already difficult to call the flat home. I'm sure it'll be much easier once it's all sorted out though.

The first step is often the hardest to climb, but a step is a step!
