Along The Burrow

A bit of a scramble after a late bike ride, looking for photographs in fading light, as the sun receded behind clouds. The vantage point on a slight hill overlooks The Burrow, a narrow strip of land extending along the coast separating the sea from an inlet. The incoming tide filled the inlet creating an expanse of water snaking into the distance, making an interesting shape in the landscape.

About face from the setting sun, filtered light created a pinkish glow above low cloud over the sea and enriched the colour of drying straw in the foreground fields.

In the end, a satisfying evening.
