The Fold

I had a blood test this morning, still behaving itself, next appointment not for a month.

After lunch we drove out to The Fold.  Similar to The Farm near Stratford, The Fold has a farm shop, cafe, individual independent shop units and nature walks from the car park.  The cafe serves seasonal vegetarian food, much grown locally, and coffee, of course.

We had a coffee then went on one of the three nature walks, the Lakeside Walk.  The weather was warm and sunny and the walk round the lake was not long or tiring.  There was a family of ducks on the water, see extra.  I had the impression that the water level of the lake was quite low.
